Galaxy Samsung S7 Ensures the Highest Profits in Two Years
Sales of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge has been above expectations and has now resulted in the best 2. quarter for Samsung in two years.
Samsung has since the launch of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge sold no less than 26 million copies, and it has now paid off.
According to Reuters has 2. quarter of 2016 was the best for Samsung in two years with a surplus of entire 46.9 billion. Crowns. By comparison, sounded the surplus in this year’s 1. quarter of 38.7 billion. Crowns.
The new number is not yet officially from Samsung itself, but is collected as an average based on 16 different analysts who have come with their prognosis.
Samsung chose to launch the top models Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge one month earlier than last year’s models, and it gave a strong lead. The competition has since failed to lure consumers to their smartphones, where both LG and HTC are struggling with incredibly low sales figures of this year’s top models.
“At this stage it appears to be unlikely that we see stronger competing devices show up in the second quarter, “ says investment manager for IBK Asset Management, Kim Hyun-soo.
With the highest profits in two years, the question arises as to whether Samsung is able to continue along the same track in the next and third quarter. The big challenge for Samsung will be competing with Apple, when the next iPhone 7 launches in-probably-the month of September. Here puts Samsung up with Galaxy Note 7, which is expected to be launched already in the beginning of October to get Apple.
