Android N Is Now Called Android 7.0 Nougat
The name of Google’s next Android N-version, which in these months beta tested, is now officially: Byd Android 7.0 Nougat welcome.
Google has a tradition of giving each Android version names after desserts and other sweets. It has brought names such as Donut, Froyo, Ginger wide, Kitkat and Marshmallow.
There has been so much attention this year around the name of the next Android N-version that Google decided to create a website for the purpose of getting help from all Android users to come up with the best name.
Now, just over a month ago it was possible to bid with names after Google’s annual i/o event, can the it giant will finally reveal the name of the not yet fully developed Android software as well as which version the sheep: Android 7.0 Nougat.
With many Android users was Nougat among the widespread bid on the final name, while particularly Nutella was singled out as the most likely bid. The new name was celebrated in front of the Google headquarters in California where there was erected a plastic sculpture tradition with the classic Android character in company with three large pieces of nougat Praline.
Android Nougat, which continues also called Android N Developer Preview, launches in a final public beta release in July, after which about a month after the software is ready to be rolled out first to Nexus-smartphones and tablets, followed by all other Android manufacturers in the coming weeks and months.
