The eggs bennedict are delicious to eat at any meal of the day, from breakfast to dinner. A hot dish, mixing the crunchiness of the bread and bacon with the creaminess of the poached egg and hollandaise sauce. To leave the recipe the more healthy it is recommended to use organic eggs, whole wheat bread and butter ghee.

If you do not want to use bacon you can replace with ham or salmon smoked that also combine. Now for the recipe that we selected for you fast, easy, and very tasty that you can accompany with a salad or add vegetables sauteed to have a full meal.

RECIPE EGGS BENNEDICT

Start by the sauce which will remain reserved until the time of service. Follow the instructions below:

– Ingredients for the hollandaise sauce –

  • 2 gems medium
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 100 g butter ghee
  • Salt

– Ingredients of the preparation –

Now make a note of the ingredients used for the other steps of the preparation:

  • 2 loaves
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • Butter ghee

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Put 2 fingers of water in a pan to boil.
  2. In the meantime, add 2 egg yolks in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of water and a little salt, and beat with a wire whisk.
  3. When the egg yolks start to become whitish, place the bowl over the pan which is to heat and whisk for 2 to 5 minutes, until the mixture is thicker.
  4. After this time, remove from the heat and continue beating, while adding slowly 100 g of melted butter. After incorporating everything, book the hollandaise sauce and place a skillet on the stove with water and a little vinegar.
  5. Break 4 eggs into individual cups before warming a plate greased with butter, and toast 2 buns cut into halves.
  6. Return to the pan, stir the water to create a whirlpool, enter the eggs in the centre and allow to poach for 3 minutes.
  7. Take the opportunity to take the bread of the plate and fry 4 slices of bacon.
  8. Delete after the heat of the frying pan and serve eggs bennedict featuring a half of bread, a slice of bacon, a poached egg and finally the hollandaise sauce.
